My ears are still ringing with the sweet sounds of violin~! Anyone who’s been in my livestreams knows I am a huge, huge fan of Lindsey Stirling’s music, (since that’s… all I play in livestream NOT SORRY). Seeing her live last night was something to check off the bucket list, though I want to go again already! Whenever I’m working on an illustration or a comic page and need an extra push of energy, I put her album on and work through it. Her music and budding career are inspiring.
The convention badge collection is beginning to weigh my door knob down. It might be time to admit I have a problem.
I spoiled myself with too much good food last weekend. Went to eat meats drowning in curry with Zetallis, itsateben, pyawakit, Milkbun, and Fayren, and then we raided my favorite bakery for cakes, (and they had a portal cake!). There was also a family birthday, so that means going out and eating a truly American, ridiculously large brunch. Also pictured at top: green tea mousse, hazelnut biscotti, and red velvet coffee.

During my last livestream, the lovely Cafel asked to see some pictures of my workspace, so here it is! The drawing I have open is a page out of my sketchbook, because I needed something to cover up all the secret Gaia work currently on my screen. :P
I’ve wanted to make mugs for a while, but no matter where you look custom mugs are pretty expensive to make. I managed to snag these three during a special Cyber Monday sale, but only these three. They are up on my Storenvy as of today, but won’t be available until sometime tomorrow, (Saturday). I’m not going to announce when.
If there’s more demand for them I will open pre-orders and get more made, but those will not arrive in time for the Holidays. These three will arrive before Christmas within the US if ordered by Dec 10th, but probably not internationally.
I’m really happy with how they came out and I’d like to make new designs someday… we’ll see!

Let me just change that Thanksgiving photo into a photoset of even more food. The spiced plums soaked in vodka with champagne and olallieberry pie were the beeest. Also my family is super classy and made jello shots, but I didn’t get pictures of those.

AHHHH OH MY GOD, I signed on to Facebook to find my friend witchtimez used my Futakuchi-Onna illustration as the inspiration for her beautiful Halloween costume!! AAHHH ahhh aahh, omg I am beyond flattered by this. GIRL YOU ARE GORGEOUS!!! The mouth and everything looks so great! *___* I was kind of bummed because I am not doing anything this year, so this totally makes my entire Halloween.
